Thomas Edison didn't invented the light bulb ; he didn't invented anything new. He just stoled someone hard work and improved it. The main evidence he didn't invented it because in the article "Tomas Edison Did not invented The Light Bulb" state that about "About 20 inventors from across the world had drafted various patents on it." This fact tells you that in fact he didn't invented the light bulb. If you were to invent something. Which would mean you're the very first person to make the idea come true and the very first person to come up with the idea. However in this case the light bulb lot of inventors were already work on it and try to make it better, so the idea was already out there. The second evidence is "English chemist Joseph Saw then began experimenting with burner of various materials, but none of then really worked for any length of time." They even name person that did and work on this light bulb before Tomas even knew about it. Our refutation or our statement. In the article it makes a statement "By the 1920s society had their lights, and Edison was an iconic figure in American society anniversary of the electric light, he was honored for his work." This is counter claim against it. In conclusion, over all Tomas Edison did not invented the light bulb due the fact that he wasn't the first person to come up with the idea.
