Blog Post 3 - Race

Becoming the first thing and doing the first thing in life is not simple and y'all reader that is reading this knows it better than anyone. George Edwin Taylor was the first African American to ran for president as National Negro liberty party.  Even considering that he was a color person.
Let's get straight in to the facts in 1904 he was the first African American to run for president; which too lots of courage to do in that time period as color people weren't care about. In that time period politic didn't care what color people thought and didn't care about their votes. In today is very similar in many ways. Hispanic vote or voice doesn't take in to consideration because they can't vote but some of them can but there isn't enough of them united. Which was true during the civil war; African America men were only have the right to vote. which was the 15 amendment that gave them the right to vote. All this factory was stack against George Edwin Taylor but he didn't gave up and just kept pushing. In today time period Obama became the first black President of the USA and the odd were against him as well. Tylor made this clear by showing us that simple is not true and never has been. This means things don't come easily without a fight and hard work. In today lots of immigrant that brought by there parents come and goes to school. They have to pay 5 times the out of state tuition to go to college but some of them will push it and still go to school. This is similarity to Tylor and going back again simple is not true and never has been. Tylor himself only received fewer than 2,000 votes when he ran for president in 1904. Is pretty sad to hear about this because the odds where against him just because he was simply a different color. This still goes on today. Even color people has the right to vote and right as white people but they are not still treated right and the same as the rest. In conclusion, don't define your problem of who you are. Keep pushing even if the odds are against you. It seems impossible to everyone until is done. Then it become possible all of sudden to to everyone.
